Trained at the prestigious CENFAD, School of Art & Design, Karl Ng presents a collection that incorporates the world of visual art into textile design. Vibrant hues are created using special dyeing techniques to allow for striking colours to resemble textures such as grains of sand, lapping waves and free form leaf design and cool animal prints.

This colourful textile exhibition will run from 1st till 18th October 2003 at NN Gallery. Karl Ng’s innovative design uses traditional batik techniques and special hand made dyes to create fluid and organic designs in silks, chiffon, organza and linen. Inspired by forms and shapes found in nature, Karl Ng, recreates new and exciting designs for the discerning eye.
