One work from this exhibition
will be presented to The Ibrahim Hussein Arts Foundation. Ybhg
Dato Ibrahim Hussein will officiate the opening.
Abstract forms and shapes emerge from her distinct language of
colours in slow, tentative motions amidst smooth and textural
colour planes. Such forms and shapes emanate into beautiful
organic folds of lines and silhouettes .This elegant movement of
release and tension captures the experience of "the flying
spirit of the bird".
The spirit is an important element in her works. It is the spirit
that guides her into a world of emotions. This particular
exhibition will express one of joy and celebration Sharifah
Fatimah's choice of inspiring and wealthy colours ravish her
canvasses like burning hues interlocking, spreading over and
surging in ecstasy.
Her paintings are indeed a reflection of her soul. Her paintings
are strong , confident and mysterious. Vibrant and alive It is
from this manifestation from within that gives moments of peace,
composure and joy.
