Art lecturers at UPSI and the sight impaired students, together, embarked in simple techniques exploring clay and printmaking. The students were exposed to molding, shape making and pattern making to incorporate into their artwork. As a result the students produced plates, vases and wall hangings made out of clay and silkscreens on paper.
UPSI organised 6 sessions of art classes/workshops in 2011. As a result, a total of 55 artworks have been produced/created by the students. These works will be exhibited at NN Gallery from 11 - 28 Feb 2012. The works are for sale and proceeds from the sales will be donated to Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas(Cacat Penglihatan) Setapak so that they can further and continue future art projects. Your assistance towards furthering their cause is much appreciated.
