‘Text Messages' is a group exhibition which features 24 lecturers from the Faculty of Arts and Music, UPSI, Tanjung Malim, Perak, Malaysia.
Text messages can be described as brief written message over cellular networks, a letter/fax, an email, in newspapers, a proverb/verse, the promotional slogan and etc., or anything that is related either directly or conceptually thematic around the subject.
In exploring this definition, the 24 member group aims to create new and innovative ways for interpreting and manipulating the concept of ‘text messages’ in various contexts through the unique approach of contemporary visual artists and designers.
