A musical charity concert organised by NN Gallery and Artists Platform in aid of Badan Warisan Malaysia on Sunday 28 June 2009, 11am at NN Gallery.
The concert aims to raise at least RM50,000 towards the urgent repair of the roof the Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman. The Rumah Penghulu is an award-winning relocation and restoration project – and one of the only examples of authentic traditional Malay vernacular architecture in Kuala Lumpur to be open to the public as a cultural exhibit.
This charity concert by Artists Platform features soprano Au Mei Foong and pianist, Kok-Ting Chong. The programme will include selections from Donizetti, Rossini, Aldo Finzi, Tosti and Puccini.
Admission to the concert is by minimum donation of RM50 per person. All donations will be tax-exempt.
