Its traditions in Malaysia dates back to pre-independence and even goes back as early as the nineteenth century. The art of watercolour bears a significant history in Malaysian artistic practices.

Works by established and up-coming artists will hang next to each other, showing the differences in styles, of colour palettes and textures and interpretations of their favoured subjects matter, all adding to the richness of this talented group. The exhibition will also document works from their recent painting trips around Malaysia.
