Jointly organised by Nando's and NN Gallery, the Art Project is part of the ongoing Nando's Worldwide Art Initiative to support aspiring artists worldwide. The winners of the 'Peri-fy Your Art' will be announced, with selected artworks from the entries exhibited from 22nd April - 3rd May 2008.
Nando’s, the home to flame-grilled Peri-Peri chickens, has been housing the works of up and coming artist in Malaysia as part of the Nando’s Art Project.
With the launch of Nando’s Malaysia’s art competition, themed ‘Peri-fy Your Art“, young and gifted Malaysians are invited to be part of this ongoing Art Project. Artists are to interpret Nando’s in a Malaysia context and translate these thoughts into an art piece.
'Peri-fy Your Art' Competition, open to Malaysian university and college students, has attracted an amazing number of participants, with over 250 entries received. Aside from the cash and rewards, the winning artists will have their works of art displayed at selected Nando’s restaurants nationwide.
