Arthur Teng is self taught in photography. He works full time as Graphic Designer/Photographer with Sime
Darby Berhad. He travels frequently in search of his photographic images. His favourite subjects are landscapes,
people’s lifestyles and graphics/abstracts.
Arthur has won a number of local and international photography awards, and had represented Malaysia in two
international photography competitions held abroad. He published a coffeetable book in 1994.
Arthur’s images are frequently used by advertising agencies and have appeared in travel magazines and coffeetable books such as Going Places; Action Asia; Wild Places and National Parks of Malaysia; Visitors’ Guide
to Taman Negara; Exciting Malaysia; The Philippines - a journey through the archipelago; Malaysia: Portrait of
A Nation; Eyes, Bridges of Putrajaya and APA’s Insight Guide book series on Malaysia; Singapore, Indonesia,
Philippines and Kuala Lumpur. |

He has held 10 solo photography exhibitions (including one solo show in Hersegade, Denmark and one in
Jakarta, Indonesia) and participated in 19 group exhibitions.
