Tengku Sabri Ibrahim
Born on 10th. April 1961 in Terengganu. He received his early informal education on the traditional Malay visual arts in
1978-81. From 1982-86 he studied fine art at MARA Institute of Technology. From 1996 to the present, Tengku undergoes a post graduate studies in Education at MARA Institute of Technology and De Montfort University Leicester England.
He has participated in more than 25 national and international exhibitions since 1984. Amongst the major exhibitions are:
Malaysian Art 1957-87 National Art Gallery 1987, Salon Malaysia 1991, Osaka Sculpture Triennale 1992, Soul of Fire Sculpture & Performances Osaka & Kobe 1993 and Tradition & Modernity:
Malaysian Contemporary Sculpture 1996. |
